I visited both towards the end of 1990's, I think it was 1999 summer. I would be the first Sri Lankan to visit Nubra valley and Khardung La pass, as it was the first time it was opened to public. I was an Educational Tour Leader for Ikarus Studienreisen in Germany and I used to do at least one tour to Ladakh/Zanskar every year during the summer, from around 1988 to 2002, for around 15 years.
